Riverwalk

The San Antonio River Walk is a world-renowned urban waterway and cultural park located one story below the busy streets of downtown San Antonio. It features a scenic network of stone paths and bridges that wind along the San Antonio River, connecting major tourist attractions with a vibrant array of shops, restaurants, and historic architecture.

Alamo

The Alamo is a historic Spanish mission and fortress compound that serves as an enduring symbol of Texan liberty and sacrifice. Most famous as the site of the 1836 battle where a small band of defenders held out against the Mexican army, it is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the heart of downtown San Antonio.

Missions

The San Antonio Missions are a group of Spanish colonial frontier missions, including four in the National Historical Park (Concepción, San José, San Juan, Espada) and the Alamo, established in the 1700s by Catholic Franciscans to evangelize natives and claim land for Spain, evolving into self-sustaining communities with unique blended Spanish-Indigenous cultures and architecture, and recognized as an UNESCO World Heritage Site. 

Sama

Housed in a historic former brewery, the San Antonio Museum of Art  (SAMA) offers a journey through 5,000 years of global culture along the Museum Reach of the River Walk. It is particularly renowned for having the most comprehensive collection of ancient Greek, Roman, and Egyptian art in the southern United States.

Located alongside the San Antonio River, the Witte Museum is the city's premier institution for nature, science, and culture, offering an immersive look at the history of Texas from prehistory to the present day.

Mc Nay 

The McNay Art Museum Click to open side panel for more information is a breathtaking blend of historic elegance and world-class modernism, centered around a magnificent 1929 Spanish Colonial Revival mansion. Its sprawling 25-acre estate serves as a sanctuary where vibrant outdoor sculptures and lush, manicured gardens meet a prestigious collection of American and European masterpieces.

Blue Star' Art's Complex

Located in the heart of Southtown, the Blue Star Arts Complex is San Antonio’s longest-running contemporary art space and a cornerstone of the city’s creative community. This repurposed industrial warehouse complex now serves as a vibrant mixed-use hub, featuring a diverse array of galleries, artist studios, eclectic retail shops, and popular local eateries like the Blue Star Brewing Company.

The Pearl

The Pearl is a vibrant, 22nd-acre historic district in San Antonio that has transformed from a 19th-century brewery into a premier culinary and cultural destination. Centered around the iconic Hotel Emma—housed in the original 1894 brewhouse—the district features a mix of chef-led restaurants, independent boutiques, and lush green spaces along the northern reach of the River Walk.
